Classics I Want to Read

 Classics I Want to Read
In my 2017 reading resolutions post I said that I hoped to read 5 classics this year. I honestly cannot remember the last classic that I read for myself and was not for class. I want to be more well read, so I think that reading some classics is the best place to start. I am shooting for more than five, but you have to start somewhere… Here is my list of classics I am interested in reading this year!
  1. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
  2. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
  3. Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
  4. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
  5. 1984 by George Orwell
  6. A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens
  7. A Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
  8. The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne
  9. The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
  10. The Time Machine by H.G. Wells
Which of these should I read first? What did you think if you have read any of these? Any classics that weren’t on my list, but should be? Please comment below! I would love to hear from you!
