Top 5 Bookish Couples
Today I wanted to do a quick post on my favorite fictional couples. If you haven’t read TMI, ACOMAF, Percy Jackson, Fangirl, or Scarlet, and you don’t want to be spoiled, I would recommend you don’t read this post. This is basically going to be fangirling over my favorite literary couples. Please feel free to join in on the discussion in the comments. I would love to know how you feel about my top 5 or who your favorites are!
- Sizzy (Simon Lewis and Isabelle Lightwood, The Mortal Instruments)- I actually live for these two. They are so awkward together and they are such a perfect match. Simon is my favorite character out of the entire series, mostly because I feel so bad for what he has been put through. I love how much Isabelle loves him, even through all the horrible things that have happened to them. The way their relationship grew throughout the series is so beautiful! I love them so much!
- Feyrhys (Feyre and Rhysand, A Court of Mist and Fury)- A close second to Sizzy is, of course, Feyrhys. I never imagined I would hate Tamlin or love Rhys, but I do. The way Sarah J. Maas plays with your feelings is horrible, yet amazing. The love Feyre and Rhys show each other is so wonderful, especially after a particularly brutal and abusive relationship with Tamlin. I will never not love these two!
- Percabeth (Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase, Percy Jackson and the Olympians/ Heroes of Olympus)- These two will always have a special place in my heart as my first ship. I love how their relationship grew over the years. They started as friends and they stayed that way for years, until they realized how much they loved each other. Their relationship is so pure and beautiful. Even when they were apart for so long, they stayed loyal to each other. I love how they both know how much they are loved, no matter how far apart they are.
- Levi and Cath (Fangirl)- The relationship between Levi and Cath is so realistic. They had real trials, real doubts, and real love. They worked to understand the other and loved each other through their many quirks. I was always so happy when I was reading about them being together, so I knew they had to make this list.
- Wolflet (Scarlet and Wolf, The Lunar Chronicles)- Wolflet is actually the only things that kept me reading this series. When they were separated I felt an ache in my heart. Seeing them apart revealed to me how much they needed each other. The way they depended on each other and grew together was wonderful. I love how they would teach each other things about their worlds. Also they were both very tough, so it was so cute how gentle they were with each other.
That’s all for my top 5 couples. Please share your thoughts, feelings, and opinions in the comments. I would love to hear from you!
