April TBR

I had an amazing reading month last month! I read a total of 7 books! I am really hoping to have an even better reading month, but I have EOC’s, so who knows what will happen. Nonetheless, there are some books I am super excited to get reading!

The Rose and the Dagger by Renee Ahdieh is the sequel to The Wrath and the Dawn, which I read last month. It is a retelling of A Thousand and One Nights and I adored it! I am so excited to be getting back into this world!

The Dark Days Club by Allison Goodman is a historical fantasy. I revolves around a girl that gets sucked into the world of demon hunters. I have heard that it captures the mood of Clockwork Angel, which is one of my favorite books of all time. I honestly cannot wait to read this one!

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas is a high fantasy novel that follows a girl in a competition to be the king’s assassin.  I read ACOTAR last year and loved it! Sarah J. Maas has an incredible way of building worlds and developing characters! I have very high hopes for this series!

Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen is a contemporary novel. I like to go into most contemporaries blind, so I know nothing about this book. One of my friends read it and loved it, so I figured I would give this one a shot!

The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson is another contemporary. I am planning on bringing this one on spring break at the beach with me. It is a very summery contemporary that has to do with walking dogs. I love Morgan Matson, so I am pumped to read her latest release!
