Spring Reading Tag
Hey y’all! I just found this really fun new tag video over on Amy Jane Smith’s youtube channel (The video is here)! I wasn’t tagged by anyone, but I love the questions! If anyone else wants to do it, go right on ahead (and say I tagged you, if you would like).
What books are you most excited to read over the next few months? Obviously, A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas and Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare! But, I am also excited to read some fun summer contemporaries because I have been stockpiling all of mine so I can read them on vacation!
What book most makes you think of spring? What the Moon Said by Gayle Rosengren always makes me think of spring. It is a middle grade novel (with a stunning cover) about a girl who moves to a farm in Wisconsin during the Great Depression. I don’t know why, but when I was thinking about this question, this book leaped out at me.
The days are getting longer- what is the longest book you have ever read? The longest book I have ever read is Winter (ironically) by Marissa Meyer at 823 pages.
What books would you reccomend to brighten someone’s day? I would recommend any Ally Carter, Joan Bauer, or Shannon Hale books.I grew up reading their books and they always make me so happy to read!
Spring brings new life in nature- think of a book that doesn’t exist, but you wish it did. I wish that there would be a sequel to The Into the Never Sky series by Veronica Rossi. I just want to know what things are like after the series is over. So much happens at the end of the last book and I would love to see how it all works out in the long run.
Spring is also a time of growth- how has your reading changed in the past few years? I used to read a lot of middle grade contemporary/ urban fantasy (probably because I was a middle schooler…), but now I read mostly YA fantasy and sometimes venture into new adult.
We are a couple of months into the new year- how’s your reading going? My reading is going great! I have read 18 books so far this year and they have all been wonderful!
Any plans you’re looking forward to over the next few months? I am just looking forward to summer and having more hours of sunshine (plus less pollen)!

I hope you enjoyed this tag! Comment below how your reading has been going this year! I would love to hear from you!
