May TBR

May TBR
New month, new TBR! I read 5 books in April, which was more than I was expecting!I think I can be a bit more ambitious this month, but things might pick up fast. Also, I am so hyped for some exciting new releases this month, so it had better be a 5 star month!
The first books I am going to read is the A Court of Trilogy by Sarah J. Maas- I have already read the first two books, but I am hoping to reread them in preparation for ACOWAR. The A Court of Series follows Feyre, as she is taken from her home into the land of the Fae. There is lots of romance, action, betrayal, and all around awesomeness. I would 10/10 recommend this series.
Heir of Fire, Queen of Shadows, and Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas- Can we talk about how ambitious this is? 6 high fantasy books in one month and I’m not even done yet. I don’t know if I will make it through all of these, but I am obsessed with these books right now and have been devouring them. This series follows Celena, an assassin, as she competes to become the King’s Assassin. These books also have lots of Fae elements, as well as romance and action. I really enjoyed books 1 and 2, so I am super excited to get into these.
Lady Midnight and Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare- I have also already read Lady Midnight, but I kinda forgot who everyone is and who my ships are, so I would like to reread it before LoS comes out. These books are the next installment in the Shadowhunter world. They follow two young Shadowhunters named Emma and Julian and all of their misadventures. That is pretty much all I can say without spoiling The Mortal Instruments. If you haven’t read these books yet, get out from the rock you are living under and go to Barnes and Noble. You will thank me later.
Alright, that is my May TBR, very ambitious, I know (I just tallied it up and it is approx. 5,086 pages or 84.7 hours of reading/ 2.7 hours of reading per day). I am now terrified and excited to get reading (but I love it, so who cares?). There are so many good books to read this month and I am beyond thrilled for LoS and ACOWAR!

What are you planning on reading in May? Tally up the page count- just for funzies! Please comment them down below! I would love to hear from you!
