June TBR
So, last month I read 12 books, which is more books than I have ever read in a month, so I am super happy! I am trying to keep my expectations low for this month because you never know, but I think this month will be pretty awesome as well!
The Remnant Chronicles by Mary E. Pearson is a high fantasy trilogy. I have started the first book, The Kiss of Deception, and so far I am loving it! It is about a princess that is forced into an arranged marriage, but instead of marrying, she flees. She is being chased by both her betrothed and one of her father’s bounty hunters. It is an epic story of romance, magic, and betrayal.
The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson is a summery contemporary. I read Since You’ve Been Gone last year and have been eagerly waiting for summer to read another! Her books are fabulous and she is one of my favorite contemporary authors!
Night Film by Marisha Pessl is a murder mystery/ thriller book. I have heard nothing but good things, but I know absolutely nothing about the book itself. I am excited to dive into this one blind and see what happens.
The Diviners Duology by Libba Bray are paranormal novels set in the 1920s. Again, I have heard nothing but good things about Libba Bray, but I have no idea what the book is about.
Plus, I have 3 books to read for school. They are On Writing: A Memoir by Stephen King, A History of the World in 6 Glasses, and Their Eyes Were Watching God.
What books are you planning on reading this month? Comment down below. I would love to hear from you!
