Hey y’all! The other day I got sucked into watching The Playlist Book Tag on Youtube and I really wanted to make one! I scrolled through my playlists and picked out some songs that reminded me of certain books! Link to playlist here!

Machines by MisterWives reminds me Cinder by Marissa Meyer. This song sums up Cinder’s attitude all throughout the series with the non-conformity/ being your own person aspect. If they had this song, I think it would be playing on repeat on The Rampion. Plus machines, because you know, cyborg.

Ride by Chase Rice reminds me of A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas. This song makes me so uncomfortable, so it definitely fits this book! I can see Tamlin saying this to Feyre and just no.

City Lights by Bridgit Mendler reminds me of The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan. The first time I ever heard this song I thought of this book! It mentions being a hercules, so it is obviously perfect...

Sincerely, Me from Dear Evan Hanson reminds me of Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. This song is so funny and it captures the relationship between Simon and Baz perfectly!

Teenage Dream (cover) by Shane Harper reminds me of Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare. I love this cover of the song because Shane Harper’s voice is amazing and the guitar is perfect! I can just hear Julien singing this to Emma! Plus, I imagine Julien as Shane Harper.

Closer by The Chainsmokers reminds me of A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas. I didn’t want to put two books of the same series on this list, but they are so different! This song is so perfect for the relationship between Feyre and Rhys!
