ACOTAR/ACOMAF Tag
Hey y’all! Today is the ACOWAR release day! I am so excited to start reading it! It has seemed like I have been waiting for this book for a lifetime! I cannot wait to see what happens! I found this tag recently and I loved the uniqueness of the questions. This tag asks a question related to each of the characters in ACOTAR/ACOMAF. Here is the the original tag video. I hope you enjoy!
1. Lucien - A book that fits more than one genre
The Selection by Kiera Cass fits into a lot of genres to me. It is set in a dystopian world, but the main plot is about the romance, with politics as a side note. It is a ya-romance and a dystopian at the same time.
2. Tamlin- a book with a nice cover but you don't like what’s inside

Ruby Red by Kerstin Gier did not do it for me. This book has the most beautiful cover, but I had so much trouble getting into the story. I thought I would love it because I love time travel, but it had too much high society and not enough magic.
3. Amarantha- a book that haunts you (in a good or bad way).

13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher sticks with you. I was questioning how I treated people for weeks after reading this. I would be about to say something and then I would think, “Would Hannah make a tape for me because of this?” Most of the time the answer was no (I’m not that mean), but it gave me something to think about.
4. King Of Hybern- a book with a lot of bloodshed
4. King Of Hybern- a book with a lot of bloodshed
The Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead had some bloodshed. I am sure I have read more violent books than this, but since the main characters are vampires, there is a lot of blood.
5. Amren- a book you don't know much about
5. Amren- a book you don't know much about
Well, this is a lot of books, but I am going to go with Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. I know that this is the first dystopian and that is it. I know nothing of the plot, characters, or world. I really just bought it because the cover I found had an interesting design.
6. Morrigan- A memoir
6. Morrigan- A memoir
The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls is the memoir of her childhood growing up homeless. It is written beautifully and it makes you wonder how this could ever happen. Her childhood was so terrible and it was crazy to read for me. Even though it was my first memoir, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
7. Rhysand- A book that you have a bond with

The Percy Jackson books by Rick Riordan will always have a special place in my heart. I still remember the day I picked up the first book in 5th grade. This was the first series I fell in love with, I bought every book the day it came out, I read and wrote fanfic, I even had costumes for all of the characters. I truly loved these books and I will always have a Percy sized hole in my heart.
8. Feyre- Pick a book that got you into reading

The Princess Academy by Shannon Hale is the first book I remember reading on my own. I’m sure I had read other books before this, as I read this in 3rd grade, but I fell in love with reading after this. The romance, the characters, the mystery, the fear, the excitement, I can still remember my feelings when I read this for this first time. After this book, I would always have reading material on me and would always beg my mom to take me to Barnes and Noble (clearly not much has changed in 10 years…).
9. The Spring Court- Pick a book that you read in spring
9. The Spring Court- Pick a book that you read in spring
Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson is a very spring-y book to me. It is set in the summer, but the new beginnings that are explored in this book remind me of spring.
10. The Night Court- Pick a book that you read well into the night
10. The Night Court- Pick a book that you read well into the night
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell kept me up all night. I simply had to know what happened. That book is giant, but I read it in a day and a half. I couldn’t put it down! There are so many unknowns and I just wanted to know how everything worked out.
